Premise
In modern Trinidad, ancient Caribbean spirits reawaken to confront a society that has nearly forgotten their power. These guardians of myth—vengeful, protective, and morally ambiguous—enforce supernatural justice on those who exploit the land, corrupt tradition, or dismiss cultural memory. Each episode reimagines a Trinidadian legend through a modern lens, blending visceral horror with cultural introspection, where folklore is not just a story but a living, breathing force.

Logline
When modern greed and apathy threaten Trinidad’s soul, forgotten folklore spirits rise from the shadows to punish the guilty, protect the vulnerable, and force humanity to confront the myths it abandoned.

Series Synopsis
The Lore resurrects Trinidad’s legendary beings in a world where technology and skepticism have erased belief. Each episode follows a different folkloric figure—La Diablesse, Papa Bois, Douens, and Soucouyant—as they adapt their ancient powers to combat modern evils: human trafficking, environmental destruction, cultural erasure, and systemic corruption. Interwoven with French Creole chants, West African rituals, and Amerindian symbolism, the series reveals how these spirits are not mere ghosts of the past but enforcers of a timeless moral code.
